Differential Diagnosis

The differential diagnoses of primary angle-closure glaucoma are: 

  • Anterior uveitis
  • Endophthalmitis
  • Corneal abrasion
  • Corneal ulcer
  • Cluster headache
  • Secondary causes of anterior angle closure (eg retinal conditions, iris membrane contracture, aqueous misdirection)
