ECO 2026: New insights from the STEP UP trial post hoc analysis

At the recent European Congress on Obesity (ECO) 2026, held in Istanbul, Türkiye, researchers presented the results of a new post-hoc analysis of the STEP UP trial. The analysis revealed that a subset of patients in the semaglutide 2.4 mg arm experienced significant weight loss of almost 25%.
