At a dinner talk hosted by Pfizer on Tuesday, 20 August 2024 in Malaysia, Dr Christian Sandrock, a renowned professor from the UC Davis Medical Center discussed the role of antiviral drug nirmatrelvir/ritonavir in the management of patients at high-risk of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The event was chaired by Dr Khairil Erwan Khalid, an infectious disease physician at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
